SR 600 System

Sundström SR 600-series hoods are designed to deliver reliable respiratory protection, enhanced comfort and greater freedom of movement in demanding working environments. Combined with the battery-powered SR 500, SR 500 EX or SR 700 fan and approved filters, they form a powered air-purifying respiratory protection system.

Filtered air is continuously supplied to the hood through the breathing hose, creating a positive pressure inside the hood. This prevents particles and other airborne contaminants from reaching the breathing zone, providing dependable protection while keeping the user comfortable throughout the workday.

For applications requiring a continuous supply of clean air, the hoods can also be used together with the SR 507 compressed-air equipment. Connected to a compressed-air supply, this combination provides a continuous airflow solution for demanding professional applications.

An excellent alternative to conventional filter-based respiratory protection, Sundström hoods are particularly well suited for intensive, warm or prolonged work, where comfort, airflow and reliable protection are essential.
